Bio
Deshay is a native of Los Angeles, who was raised in the vicinity of Mid City and Hollywood. Having previously worked as a preschool teacher, Deshay is excited to be a part of the New LA family as a new teacher. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from California State University Northridge. She has found a passion for playing, learning, and growing alongside our littlest learners, while also being able to support their social and emotional development. Apart from her teaching responsibilities at New LA, Deshay dedicates her free time to teaching yoga and mindfulness. Additionally, Deshay enjoys building computers as well as engaging in table top games and digital interactive media.
